Prophet Muhammad ﷺ said:
"An honest and trustworthy merchant will be (raised) with the Prophets, the truthful and Martyrs."
(Al Tirmidhi)
Trade via the Silk Route became the second largest factor in spreading Islam throughout Europe, Africa and Asia as the Muslim traders became renowned for their honesty, trustworthiness, and good character.
We want to encourage our Muslim children to continue the entrepreneurial legacy established by Prophet Muhammad ﷺ and many of his Companions to create, innovate and serve the community through their entrepreneurial ideas.
In the spirit of following the Sunnah, we encourage all budding entrepreneurs to participate in this business fair. Remember no idea is too small.
As Muhammad Ali puts it:
"If my mind can conceive it, and my heart can believe it, then I can achieve it."
Our generous sponsors (Acton Academy and the Acton School of Business) and volunteers make this event possible. We all believe that principled entrepreneurs are heroes and role models for the next generation.
